There are only 9 days until Chad and I leave to go to the river...with out the kiddos. I can not wait for time alone with other adults, but I must say leaving the girls will not be so easy. We have had no time lately as a family. Chad and I have been working like crazy and have not had a day off together since August 11th. It has definitely taken a toll on all of us, it makes you realize what you take for granted.
As for our munchkins, they have been sprouting like weeds. Kalyee is repeating everything and is sooo smart. It amazes me every day the things she understands. She actually even has a chore now, taking the diapers to the trash. She will even do it without us asking sometimes. Brooklyn has been smiling like crazy. She has also started a little clingy faze. She will not let us put her down, even at nap time. I love holding her but it has taken a toll on allowing me to clean on my down time.

Counting down the days! I know we are. Work and Family is the ever difficult balance. We're right there with you. The river will be AWESOME!!!!
