My Husband Rocks!!

Many of my friends have started this great thing called "My husband Rocks Friday's" I decided that my hubby also deserves at least one day a week for me to brag on him.. So here goes...
My husband Rocks because he has been so sympathetic through this whole work issue!!! As many of you know my boss Carrie left the company. She is the best Regional I have ever worked for, she and I are also close friends. Well due to her leaving there has been a major push to rearrange the portfolio. Basically, anyone who is friends with Carrie has been extremley scrutinized over the last few weeks. Needless to say it has been a roller coaster, I don't fear that I will be fired b/c I have done nothing wrong and my owners really like me. However, they have made my life and my staff's life a living hell to try and push us out. Every night I come home with a headache and emotionally drained. Chad has done so much for me including taking care of the girls dinner, bath and bed every night he has been off early.
I know this is hard on him to but he can see that I can not take anything additional on my plate and for a man to notice means a lot!!
Thank you Chad...with out you I really would be a mess. (or need zoloft!)

Family Weekend

I can't remember the last weekend Chad had off with us, seriously I have no idea when it was... And when he is finally off we always have so much to catch up on, it's either grocery shopping, school shopping, or just getting away!

Early Saturday we headed up to Hempstead, TX to visit Yogi Bears Jelly Stone Park, yes that is the real name. Our friends Neile and Biff had told us about this awesome park a couple times and we decided to load up the girls and try it out. We eneded up staying for 9 hours... there was so much to do, the girls loved every minute of it. They have a really neat Halloween Oktoberfest for the month of October, check there site out for details

http://www.campjellystone.com/camp-resorts-detail.php?campgroundID=76. We will be trying to make it back out October 17th- 19th. It is always so cool to find neat place that is both kid and adult friendly.

They have not done too much that you can see on the outside but the inside is a different story. They added sheetrock throughout the house in less than 2 days! It is nice to see walls and get a better idea of our new home. We are expecting our brick and stone to be added early next week!

We can not wait!!!!

Building Our Future...

Our new home is started!!!

After many months we finally figured out what exactly we were going to do as far as a home. We found a great little neighborhood in Conroe that we are very excited about. We were not planning on moving in untill December or January, but like most things in our life things seem to mbe coming along quicker than expected. They have moved our finish date to the 2nd week in October!

They just poured the slab for the house on July 10th and a week later it was allready framed! Yesterday we went out (with out the camera! Sorry!) and saw that the shingles and fireplace have been added. I have to say, I knew building a home would be exciting but to see your home being built in every single stage is so awesome! It really gives you more ownership and understanding of the entire process. The girls love going to "there house" as well, Kaylee always wants to see her room and always reminds us she wants a pink room. It is very neat to see them react to the differences every time we visit.

I added the pic's I had thus far...I will get the slab only pic's from my mom and add them. Sorry for taking so long!
