Rodeo Day

We had a family day at the Houston Livestock show and rodeo last week. We new this was a great place for the girls and it did not let us down. Kaylee was extremley excited to see all the animals. The petting zoo was a HUGE hit, she was not shy at all, even Brooklyn wasn't hesitant to pet the goats and pony. We also had a chance to go on a few carnival rides. Chad rode the tea cups with Kaylee, we now know she does not have motion sickness like her mommy. I guess she will be able to go to the movies with her daddy when she gets older! They also went through a fun house and played a carnival game. Kayle tried to pop a balloon by throwing a dart... She missed pretty badly but still had her pick at a prize. It is so nice to stop for a minute and have fun as a family. I jst wish we planned to do so more often.

Update on girls:
The girls had there dr's appt last week and we had an update on there stats.

Kaylee 97% weight and 80% on height
Brooklyn 50% weight and 25% on height

I just can not believe our Brooky Bear is a shorty...and she has little feet? Who knows?

Two soon!

My little baby turned two last Sunday and I am not sure how the last 2 years went by so fast. Every parent will tell you "they grow up so fast", but when you are dealing with your day to day life you don't relize how much its true!

Kaylee is such a beautiful little girl, not only on the outside but the inside. She is so caring and worried about everyones feelings...(well most of the time)! She always trys to soothe Brooklyn when she is upset. She will tell you "it's okay" when you hurt yourself and she will kiss your bo bo. She has just really been attached to the "mom" role. She has also shown her wild side!!! She is a dancer....she can not sit still if music is playing. She loves it!!!! And she HAS to have an audience when she is dancing, sounds like a big cousin of hers! LOL This week we will get to update everyone with her growth stats. I can not wait to find out how much weight I am caring up and down the stairs several times a day.

We had Kaylee's birthday at Pump It Up this year, it is a huge room filled with inflatable moonwalks, obstacle courses and slides. Everyone had fun, including the adults. We had the room for 2 hours but after about 45 minutes I think every kid was wiped out. Kaylee had a blast and ate every bite of her cupcake..well minus the few fingers full of icing Brooklyn stole. It was a great day!
