Chunky

Brooklyn is such a chunk!! She recently had her 6 month check up at the dr and weighed in at 16lbs 12 oz (which is in the 75%) and was 25 inches long (the 25%). So basically she is still short and a little fatty. She has had a little bit of trouble eating solid food lately, Kaylee and her both had a little tummy virus which left them unsure of eating again. I love how many rolls she has...EVERYWHERE! They are so cute, hard to get food out of but cute. She has been such a great baby, she has been sleeping through the night a couple times all ready, but usually wakes up once for a bottle. She also just recently started holding her own bottle which makes night time feedings painless. I really think she will be such a great addition to our family with her personality. She is so happy all the time and loves to see her big sissy play, she can not stand not being able to run and jump around with Kaylee. Here are some updated pic's of my little one.

I love the Holidays...

The Girls have really enjoyed the season this year. It is so cute to here Kaylee ask about Santa and Christmas Trees every day. Here are a c0uple pic's from Old Town Spring last weekend. Of course I decorated the apartment for the Christmas.. luckily I had Marliyn here a couple days around Thanksgiving to help distract the kids while I decorated. I love having our tree and lights up, it just makes the apartment feel more like a home. So far we have loved living here, we really lucked out getting this apartment. We have rarely missed our house which I thought I would be miserable with out. Having no mortgage has been VERY nice.. we have made a few purchases with our new cash flow... including a TV and a new computer (Thank God !). We also finally are one payment away from paying off our last credit card. Our next big payoff will be Chad's truck which we are aiming to finish by the end of the summer. WE had plans to build on our land out in Magnolia but are looking at other options. We will most likely stay in the apartment as long as possible and then look for land closer to build on or buy a home in Spring or Tomball with a little acreage. Not sure yet, but its fun to have the options!

Santa and the girls

We went to Old Town Spring this weekend and had some great Christmas experiences with the girls. We had pic's taken with Santa and rode a train ride several times with Kaylee. Santa even rode the train with Kaylee and Papa, she was very excited and thought everyone was waving at her the entire ride. She did not however like sitting on Santa's lap. She will talk about Santa all day but when its time for her turn to tell him what she wants she wants no part of it.

Update... As of today we have resolved the computer issue. We bit the bullet and purchased a new HP lap top and I will get it up and running tonight. I never relized how much I rely on a computer these days. Its as bad as a cell phone I think, I do everything on it and can not stand having to travel to my parents to google something or do update my checkbook. Anyway, just be looking for updates on a regualr basis..
